A Request: can we please quit talking about Coulter?

I can just imagine her reading DU and getting way too much satisfaction out of all the attention she gets here. In the scheme of things, how important is she, really? Zero. Nada. Zip.

The only people who listen to her are the crazies like herself, and those who despise her outrageous behaviour like us.

Her book might be selling dismally for 5 bucks, but it doesn't matter. She's getting tons of airtime from the MSM and even got Hillary Clinton talking about her.

Coulter is a hater. Idiots like her deserve to be put in a corner and ignored. I urge everyone to quit watching her on TV and quit talking about her here. Maybe then she will just go away, never to be heard from again.

She insulted the 9/11 wives and got herself on all the teevee shows. She's a genius. But she doesn't need to be, because liberals are always there to lend a helping hand with her book sales.

I don't read her books. My lord, my life needs another whack job from the media to take up my time like I need a hole in the head. Amen to your sentiment. I don't know what the fuss is over her. She makes no sense and is filled with hate. Let her walk this road alone, conservatives will turn on her when she is spurned by the mass media. Another figure head bites the dust.

let's just ignore her, she isn't worth all the attention she is getting. She is really psychotic.

although, yes, we do go on about her more than we should.

She's a brilliant comedian who has failed at everything in her life until she found a routine that works, and we're all falling into the trap.

She feeds on the freeper mentality that giggles when she says things they're afraid to say in public. She feeds off of the outrage from the left.

She is no different than Fred Phelps, who found his niche profiting off of outrage. And, like Phelps, the best thing to do is ignore her. She has no power, no following, no nothing. Just the ability to stir shit in a barrel.

But, she's a media darling because she does just that. People watch her like they watch the snake about to strike or a rubberneck bad car wreck. She's a perfect man bites dog-- the skinny blonde bad girl as political pundit.

Biting snakes and car wrecks are not good things, though, and we all know that even as we are hypnotized by them.

Just let it go as part of the sideshow.

I could care less about what a twisted righty hellsoul like Coulter has to say.

It's the media's reaction. Can you even imagine how they would be approaching it if the situation were reversed? Say if some notable Dem author came out and said that soldier's wives were glad that their husbands died brutal deaths in Iraq so that they could become media celebs?

What tone do you think they'd be addressing such a person with in interviews? Take a guess.
