It was a great thrill to have the Pink Triangle as my avatar

ad you might know, there was a request in GD asking if everyone would show their unity against that horrible & homephoblic Federal Marriage Amendment was voted for on the Senate floor. Fortunately there were not 60 hate filled, homophobic senators (only 49) and the amendment was defeated.

But now it's time to return to my absolute true love and return with my Robert Plant avatar. It was a great honor an worthy cause to replace something I adore like Robert Plant, with something I adore just as much which is all my GBLT friends here at DU

I think your avatar is HRC cause it's on a sweatshirt I got from them that I can no longer wear because queers should not be endorsing (or sending money) to faux queer loving candidates/organizations or anybody in bed with this facist administration.

6. Can't say I know much about them

The post asked for support for a group of people who deserved it and offered three icons to show it with. I'm not much the pink or rainbow type, but everyone deserves equality.

Let's not over-think things too much ;) It's nothing more or less than a gesture of support, I don't need any part of partisan fights over it.
