Bush pressuring Chile to exempt "US citizens" .....
from being prosecuted for "human rights abuses" at the International Criminal Court.

In other words, he wants the military, private security firms (aka mercenaries), CIA operatives and people like himself (criminals who order the crimes)- to be exempt from prosecution when they commit their "crimes against democracy" (my words).

For anyone who has ever read "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" (John Perkins), the back story behind this arm twisting is right in line with his description of US foreign policy exacting its "pound of flesh" from other countries.

a truly dynamic, kickass leader (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelle_Bachelet) who won't fall for this load of crap. I bet that the leaders in South America probably call each other after * contacts one of them just to process his craziness and to laugh about it.

I don't think he understands how united they are becoming... AND, if I were he or one of his evil minions, I wouldn't choose one of the those countries as a place to retire (hide) after his tenure as *resident.

edited to add 'evil minions' - one of my favorite phrases these days...
