Congress needs to establish a memorial to Tom DeLay.

Today is Tommy boy's last day in congress and this momentous event shouldn't pass without recognition. I therefore recommend that one of the capitol's restrooms be set aside as a Tom DeLay Memorial.

A plaque at the door would have an etching of his image and name. Only Republicans (and some Dems such as Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller types) would be entitled to use it. The capitol sanitation staff would be given orders that it is never to be cleaned, in keeping with the DeLay tradition of becoming more of a cesspool with each passing day.

Each urinal and stall would have it's own name to recognize some of DeLay's fellow travelers. There would be the Gingrich urinal, the Abramoff stall ($1,000 to enter), etc. No water pipes would be installed in the memorial, and toilet paper would be verboten.

Of course, this memorial won't come into being until the Dems take back the congress, but once this happens, use of the memorial will be mandatory for all Republicans.

Please feel free to suggest other amenities that should be included in the monument.

In keeping with the "Deeds" these men have performed in the past, I believe the Constitution should be used as Toilet Paper. :)
