A question has occurred to me...what do you think?

Assume that all the polls show that the day before the election in November every race for congress and senate have Democrats winning by significant margins.

The day after the election the electronic voting machines show that a Republican majority still controls both houses of congress.

Will this be enough for the majority to take to the barriers? Or will the sheep go quietly to slaughter?

Will the invertebrate Democrats still sit on their hands and say nothing?

And is the United States of America really and truly finally dead, after only five years?

What do you think will happen? It's important because the voting machines are still out there determining our destiny and still controlled by the Republican criminal conspiracy.

1. I Think They'll Let Dems Win Enough
The Dems will win enough of the contests, to make it look legit, yet not enoungh to take control of either house.

This way, the Dems will still have ZERO control for the next 2 years, and won't be able to pursue any investigations. Yet, they'll let the Dems cheer about the gains they made, even though it was not enough to make a real difference in D.C.

3. I agree...
...my partner and I were talking about this recently and both agreed that the evil Rove was out and about getting those machines online and ready to tabulate the wrong vote count for the repukes.

2. What would it take to get the majority to the barriers? Who knows.

We are living in an artificially induced state of consciousness that resembles sleep.

The poor and the underclass are growing.

Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent.

They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices... their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness.

We have been lulled into a trance.

They have made us indifferent, to ourselves, to others, we are focused only on our own gain.
They are safe as long as they are not discovered... that is their primary method of survival.
Keep us asleep, keep us selfish, keep us sedated... they are dismantling the sleeping middle class.

More and more people are becoming poor.

We are their cattle.

4. Actually
this has happened already-- and not just the exit polls from 2004.

In the off-year election in 2005, a group called Reform Ohio Now got several referendum questions put on the state ballot that had to do with tightening up elections so machines couldn't be hacked and partisan public officials in positions of responsibility (cough Ken Blackwell cough) couldn't game the system. Public opinion polls showed that the voters were in favor of these propositions, by margins as high as two to one.

None of them passed.

We're still waiting for a response.
