So my answer would have nothing to do with what the poll implies. CNN polls are always such vague bullshit.

I used to listen to Country when I was young, can't really stand it now...

If I want to feel all "I lost my job, my girl left me, my truck won't start and my dog died," then I just go off my meds! ;)

Mind you, some of it's okay. "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" never gets old for me!

Exactly.

It virtually guarantees more no votes than yes votes, and the Freepers will no doubt dig it up because they will claim it is all about their politics when that is not the case at all. Some people may like their politics but not their music, and there are plenty of others who just plain don't like to go to any type of concerts.

CNN is still convinced that everyone hates the Dixie Chicks and loves Bush, and this poll is their attempt to prove that. I don't particularly care for country music so I would never go to a show, but I applaud them for speaking out. CNN hopes I will vote no in their poll, but I refuse to play their game and give the freepers ammo.

I wouldn't call the Dixie Chicks that traditional of country music. There's plenty I won't listen to and I don't have country music on my car radio. However, I like their music. Also, Emmylou Harris and Willie Nelson. But I'll just buy their music. I despise the country music industry.
