Hit man is dead, says Abramoff partner
Abramoff's partner Adam Kidan is now admitting to knowing about the circumstances surrounding Gus Boulis' murder! This is very bad news for Abramoff and his friends. Of course, the M$M is too busy covering the Amazing Zarqawi to even notice that their friend Jack is now an accessory to murder.

Ex-Abramoff partner: shooter in Boulis murder died 3 years ago

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) -- An associate of John Gotti killed three years ago was the person who fatally shot SunCruz Casinos founder Konstantinos "Gus" Boulis in 2001, a partner in the purchase of the gambling boat company told investigators.

Adam Kidan, who bought SunCruz from Boulis with lobbyist Jack Abramoff in 2000, told authorities in a taped interview May 1 that John Gurino was the person who shot Boulis, said Art Carbo, an investigator with the Broward County State Attorney's office and a former Fort Lauderdale detective on the case.

"He came up with all of this information," Carbo told The Associated Press on Friday. "That name had never come up before that."

Earlier this year, Kidan and Abramoff pleaded guilty to fraud and conspiracy charges stemming from the SunCruz purchase.

1. Wow, look at the response to this news
:sarcasm:

All the Rove distractions are much more interesting I suppose?

2. And the non-response surprises you?
It doesn't surprise me. Every time the chorus of indignation rises here about how the MSM plays into the hands of Rove and his rolodex of distractions all I have to do is peruse the GD forum to remind myself why the Bushriech's PsyOps does what it does so well: IT WORKS!

I'll give this thread a K&R. Thanks for posting this!

These bastards operated like the Corleones. I can't help but to think back to GF2 and the scenes with Senator Geary (I'm thinking "DeLay")...

6. Remember how the freepers and M$M
tried to implicate Clinton in 100's of deaths and murders. I think they even had a website devoted to keeping track of all the connections.

Yet, we have Abramoff's partner testifying in a court of law, admitting that he was involved in a murder that he had previously claimed knowing nothing about. While the fact that this case goes all the way to the WH, doesn't even make a blip on the radar.

9. I remember that.
Here is a link to a Snopes page, where the whole Clinton murder hoax is exposed as a string of lies:

10. And to think we just elected an "associate" to this accessory to murder...
Edited on Sat Jun-10-06 08:20 AM by calipendence
... just this week over a school board teacher because people were scared she was going to try and recruit illegal aliens to vote because she was quoted as saying "you don't need papers to vote" out of context.

Man we are living among sheeple! Of course he denies knowing Abramoff, just like Bushco does, despite going on a trip to the Marianas on Abramoff's dime!

Too bad we didn't know this news a week ago. When the RW spin was happening to try and drag her name through the mud through all their "speculative" context filling, we could respond in kind that people shouldn't want to vote in an accessory to murder! Well, this WILL go on the list for the November election!

17. Sure... Bilbray and his wife travelled to the Marianas on Jack's dime...

Note this Republican's web site who doesn't like Bilbray:

http://bilbraytheliberallobbyist.com/page2.htm#jack

Even Fox News acknowledges this:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,154708,00.html

There is no doubt that trips to the CNMI (islands) are one of the most effective ways to build permanent friends on the Hill and among policymakers in Washington," the firm wrote the island government in a lobbying plan in February 1998.

Some of the lawmakers Abramoff arranged to travel to the islands included Reps. Dana Rohrabacher and Brian Bilbray, both California Republicans, and Ralph Hall, a Texas Democrat.

If lawmakers weren't interested in traveling, Abramoff found other ways to reach out to them.

19. Funny how the media echoes the "immigrants don't need papers" BS...
but they don't inform us about stuff like this! This is why we need to take back America this year! At least if Busby loses, she gets a second shot in November. We need to make sure everyone knows info about this and other skeletons in Bilbray's closet.

Rethuglicans want to be able to vote for a carpet bagger who is a Virginia resident here, but make a big deal about a few out of context comments that Busby says! They're SUCH hypocrites!

11. not convinced yet...
But that's just because dead guys make great scapegoats! I'd like to think the real perpetrator is an even juicer target... perhaps a link to the GOP somehow. I think he's offering up a, what they call, red herring... waste of time and effort. A distraction. Keep following the MONEY is what i'd advise.

Boulis Investigation Dredges Up Big Names

US authorities charge alleged gangsters with murder, probe lobbyist connections

by Timothy Appleby
CommonDreams

EXCERPT...

When three men were charged last month with killing him in 2001, the most familiar name on the indictments belonged to 67-year-old Anthony (Big Tony) Moscatiello, an associate of New York's Gambino crime family. John Gotti, once overheard on a wiretap threatening to do Mr. Moscatiello some serious harm if he did not show more respect, headed the Gambino clan.

SNIP...

That is would-be Washington mega-lobbyist Jack Abramoff, who once raised $100,000 for U.S. President George W. Bush and is a close friend of Republican Congressman Tom DeLay, the House majority leader until last month when a Texas prosecutor accused Mr. DeLay of conspiracy and money laundering.

Mr. Abramoff, 45, has his own legal troubles. So much so, that on Friday, lawyer Timothy Flanigan withdrew his nomination for U.S. deputy attorney-general -- the nation's No. 2 law job -- because of congressional concerns over his dealings with Mr. Abramoff.

Casino Jack, as Mr. Abramoff is known, has for months been under investigation by a federal grand jury and the Senate's Indian affairs committee after receiving at least $66-million from six Indian tribes to lobby for their casino interests; the tribes later said the fees were excessive.

But more recently, his difficulties multiplied.

In August, he and his former business partner, disbarred New York lawyer and fellow Republican fundraiser Adam Kidan, 41, were charged with fraud and conspiracy over their September, 2000, purchase of Mr. Boulis's 11 SunCruz gambling boats for $147-million.

Those charges accuse Mr. Abramoff and Mr. Kidan of faking a wire transfer that made it appear that they had put up $23-million of their own money in the SunCruz sale. Based on that transfer, two banks agreed to lend the pair $60-million, the charges allege.
