Will Osama Bin Laden's body be the Rethug icon for this fall's election?

Who knows? Maybe they already have his corpse which will give them five months to pose it in as many positions as possible to appeal to the masses. About two weeks before the election, King George might give a speech in front of a giant backdrop with an image of the dead Bin Laden overlaying the World Trade Center. (He'll probably leave out the flight suit this time.)

There will be plenty of photos of Bin Laden's familiar bearded face intact so we can all be certain of King George's triumph. All Republican politicians up for election or reelection will be supplied with hundreds of posters in which to wrap themselves at every campaign stop.

I may sound cynical, but I've watched these thugs use tactics like this for the past six years. Why would this year be any different? Well, as any Republican would say, "Why do I hate America so much?"

I think they'll take the easier route. Over the next few months, they'll come up with fabricated 'links' between Zarquawi and 9/11 and say:

"Ta da!!! We got the RIGHT GUY after all!"
