Tomorrow Iran plays Mexico in the first round of the World Cup. Who do you root for in this one?

Mexico didn't impress in the preparatory game against France, and Iran is far from being a beginner. Some Iranis play as top players in European clubs and they are part of the team.

...the government and from the anti-government rebels playing on the same team. Unbelievable. I can remember wars being delayed (Central America I think?) for a few days to allow for the WC to proceed. They must take this stuff seriously?

9. They almost brought it together at the end, too.
They still need better teamwork.

I was definitely rooting for IC today. Hopefully, the peace will continue after the games end.
