Paul Bremer... now if that isn't a tired hack I don't know what is....

I have to thank George Stephanopoulos for pulling out this relic to warp my views this morning.

I think about the only thing of value I heard from Bremer this morning is that it makes absolutely perfect sense to not listen to anybody that was involved in the mess we have in Iraq right now. At least the ones who are towing the administration line.

I would have liked to see George ask him some questions based on Greg Palast's article about Iraq this week.

Bremer was incompetent at best.

about the Alkazowy bombing. She said she was just back from two weeks of book leave, was still awake, and got a call from a source. She really comes across as the new Judith MILLER. Mistah KURTZ and the CNN dude went over the "motivations" of sources: Why did somebody want to get the story out BEFORE the news conference? The other dude said it is because of RELATIONSHIPS with sources, perhaps a source WANTING a particular reporter to get ahead.

A couple of weeks ago Katrina VANDER HEUVEL kicked Martha's butt. When Martha referred to the NSA eavesdropping as the "Terrorism (Control program, or somesuch), Katrina said, "When you refer to it with that name, you're pretty much on the Reservation" (paraphrasing).
