Did Laura Ingraham tell Toby Keith to shut up and sing?

Signed,

Curious

2. Some talking head on CNN asked approximately that question . . .
But Coulter's answer was complete gibberish.

4. Gotta Clip?
I'm genuinely interested in her answer.

I'm sick of these people saying, "You people need to shut up....unless you agree with us..."

I was surprised that CNN's new Golden Boy hasn't been mentioned in all of this...What with his hating 9/11 families and all.

8. It was Paula Zahn, but I can't find a clip or a transcript . . .
Edited on Mon Jun-12-06 01:51 PM by MrModerate
Zahn asked (approximately) "What about 9/11 survivors who speak in support of the President?" Coulter sputtered a bit, but her answer was roughly "That's different. These women campaigned for John Kerry and now I'm not supposed to criticize them because they're 9/11 widows."

Sorry to be so imprecise, but that's the gist of it (as I recall).

10. Wow.
So...that really is the whole thing.

Only because they question the original story are they Harpies.

*sigh*

I agree with AdAge.

7. She's a 9/11 widow also...
Edited on Mon Jun-12-06 01:38 PM by Iblis
Who's making money off the experience and tried to sue Neil Young for using the title "Let's Roll"...

I guess I'm just saying, if there were a bunch of 9/11 widows travelling the country saying "Let's support the war on terror." Ann Coulter would be calling them great women of extraordinary courage, or something...

and...Texas.

9. She had the term trademarked, in fact. Selling the term off when possible.
Ironically, if the latest flight 93 tapes are true. no one ever said "Let's Roll". It was "Roll It."

11. Yeah
But "Let's Roll" is so much more marketable - like "Bring It ON!" or "Wanted - Dead or Alive."

13. She can trademark a term that's been around for as long as I can remember?
There is something wrong with that picture. I think she's gone overboard if she did something like that, and it shouldn't be permitted.

12. She tried to sue Neil Young for using "Let's roll"? That's dumb!!!
The repub operatives must've talked her into that suit. That saying has been around long before 9-11. She can't trademark it.
