2. yes it is w's war, but most of congress is compliciet also
saying you were lied to only goes so far, especially when very little has been done since then to bring the troops home from Iraq

Sure, Murtha presented his plan, but most would NOT stand with him, and I don't expect much from the Kerry plan either

3. Hey, they've done a hell of a job better than W
to get our troops out of that insane war. Forget that?

9. All they can do is try...
They have no committee strength or position.

All they have to offer is that they have been there.

Unlike the *ussy 'pubs.

13. Hey, Buddy (Hipshot Percussion)
Keep the knee-jerk to a minimm.

I have yet to see any of these guys (Kerry, etc..) show any sympathy for the 'Insurgents' (read: CountryMen) over our troops.

I spent 39 months in knee-deep shit in SE Asia.
If only some more of our Politicians would have given a shit...

5. really? except for a handful, the party position has been not to
touch the Iraq issue before the 2006 campaign. In fact, that is the courage they have shown on about every single important issue that has been brought before them. Look at the Supreme court judge confirmations, look at the illegal wire tapping, look at the patriot act, look at the censure motion. Saying they have done a lot better than W, says nothing. It has been pathetic. In addition, the American public has been even MORE PATHETIC

As more and more people are affected it will change. It is already occurring

10. One must keep in mind, especially when those ignorant
fucks keep pushing the idea that Viet Nam claimed far more lives as though it somehow justifies this crime spree, had it not been for the tremendous improvement in medicine and trauma treatment, the death toll would now be about ten thousand instead of twenty five hundred.
We'd still have twenty five thousand dead and disabled but if this were 1975, the figures would be far different.
This whole thing makes me sick. How could so many people be so stupid?
