The following posters owe me a signature line re: Rove non-indictment
As per the following thread, in which I announced an open bet that Rove would not be indicted:

We should have all known Fitz wouldn't be able to find enough evidence against Rove - it was kind of hard to pin anything on Lucretia Borgia as well, and for the same reason: people bearing witness against her tended to be found dead.

6. I did think about it...that's why I took the position I did
Even in the face of the "imminent indictment" nonsense emanating from Spoofout.com, I reasserted the bet, challenging Will Pitt to take it. He said he'd get back to me, but never did. Oh well.

And, of course, it serves to aggrandize my correct prediction on these boards. Petty? Probably. But nevertheless. I would have been riled mercilessly had I been wrong, but I wasn't wrong, so now I get to do a little riling. I also would have used the signature line stated in the initial bet. Fun stuff. Thanks for your comment, though.

I'm the type of guy that when I bet, if I'm right when it's said and done, the "being right" is the payoff. But then again I don't bet all that much. If however the snark level in the bettings was as nasty as some of the theads when the Leopold story was going on you may have your reasons.

The A$$wipe "reporters" who simply couldn't be bothered with fact-checking and follow-up.

The fact that so many people are outraged by this is unsettling, but even more unsettling is that many people want to give this guy a pass when his track record has a history of this type of stuff.
