Fitzmas is coming!
Why would Rove be "off the hook"? Because he ratted out someone higher up the food chain. The only folks higher up would be Bushitler, Cheney or a cabinet level person. Watch out.

1. Nah, the investigation is over, Libby is it
If they didn't indict Rove, Bush and Cheney, unfortuneatley are off the hook as well. Fitzgerald will probably close the case. DAMN!!!!

9. I got a feeling you're right.
Bush/Cheney/Rove have thrown Scooter under the bus and Fitz will take his conviction and pack it in. He's probably got a cushy job all lined up with the Carlyle Group.

10. The investigation of ROVE may be over... because he flipped.
The more I look at the specific wirding of the SOLE source for the news -- Luskin's selective quote from a letter received from Fitz -- the more it looks like:

1) Rove has flipped;
2) that last visit to the Grand Jury was to clarify previous testimony AND explain e-mails that tie CHENEY to the cover-up of the Plame leak.

Dick Cheney, as has been pointed out in , is the Bush boy's albatross. Legal proceedings would completely tie up Mr. Energy and Iraq Policy -- and likely lead to his resignation.

And if it happens next January -- and if the Senate has a Democratic majority -- the next Vice President would NOT be a Republican.

11. when they conclude the grand jury
It's over.

My bet is they had a couple of hold outs on the jury that's why Rove is off the hook

5. I'm with you
It's obvious to me that Cheney is the real target. Fitz's filings in the Libby case prove that.

7. I want to see the letter that Luskin received
I wrote to the AP and Washington Post this morning asking for a copy of the letter to be released-which I am sure they looked at (wink! wink!)being the good reporters that they are. Im sure I wont get a response and no letter will be forthcoming.

Just like Brownie."
