1. I'll second that. Go, Patrick.

2. Me, too. But I think he should get the same sentence as any
first time DUI from Anacostia or Arlington. No special treatment.

3. I've never been particularly impressed with him
he should get the help he needs (and sounds like he is) and then be dealt with the same as anybody else.

4. Don't forget
he voted against net neutrality. If you want to continue to have websites like DU, this is not a good thing.

5. Thank you! Yes I am not standing by P. Kennedy or any other Pol
who is voting to take away the voice of the general public. Our taxes paid to build this web and any Pols who are trying to privatize it do not deserve our support.

6. I'm not
And I live in RI. I don't support either of our congresscritters.

The only RI member of the Senate or House I support is Jack Reed.

Unfortunately, I am not in Kennedy's district and can't do much about him.

My non-support of him has nothing to do with his addiction and mental health. My non-support of him has to do with his voting record. It sucks and as I've said before, he makes a mockery of the Kennedy name. Do yourself a favor and take a look at his record.

I am not a "my country right or wrong" kind of person and I am not a "support the democrat, no matter what" kind of person either.

And also unfortunately, there won't be viable challenges to either Langevin or Kennedy in the primaries.

In 2004, I refused to cast a vote in the House race and it probably won't now either. I won't vote for a republican and I won't vote for someone who is pro forced pregnancy, who voted for the criminal bankruptcy bill, who voted against net neutrality or for someone who voted for the war.

If a democrat is not progressive, I'm not voting for them. The vichy democrats are as bad as the republicans. Hell, even Chafee, a fat-cat republican has a better voting record on issues I care about than does Kennedy.

And that's coming from someone who lives in RI. I don't support Patrick Kennedy
