This is the video of the aftermath of the terrible event on the beach in Gaza where a family was killed. We witness the grief of a child who has lost her whole family.
I have never seen anything that so strongly goes to the heart of why must all work to end war. All of us, on all sides. I saw it this morning before any other news, and believe me, it puts everything into perspective.
http://www.informationliberation.com/?id=12094Perhaps the removal of the thread with this video has something to do with the rules of the Israel/Palestine forum? Or is there a concern that the video is not truthful, or too graphic? There is no violence here, just grief.
A still from this video appeared on the front page of the New York Times on Saturday. Is there some reason why it should be censored from DU?
These are serious questions. I feel everyone should see this, even if you already "know all about it." It's not about proving the evil of one side or another. It's about the reality of what we have let our world become. Sometimes you have to let yourself see it.
