I'm taking a hiatus from DU. You guys have been so supportive

but I'm having an awful time trying to patch my life together after what's happened lately. I have no heart left and am doing crazy things. I'll see you in a few days when I'm feeling more sane. Thanks everybody. You're the best.

I only checked your profile because I have been feeling like I need to stay away from DU, TV, newspapers, and all of it lately. It's getting to me bigtime right now. Today's Rove news and the Palast book info felt like stab wounds. And so I wondered how long you had been at DU and if this was a "time in the barrel" response.

Once I saw we had joined DU on the exact same day, I took it as a sign that I need a break as well instead of just talking about it. Thanks for the supernatural push. I hope we can both come back when we're feeling stronger and more sane again.
