Right using impeachment as a scare tactic for base

Hmmm, interesting. My Dad just got a piece of mail for the Republican Congressional Committee with the words "Censure? Impeachment?" in big bold letters on the front of it. Below it says "why keeping our majority is more important than ever. Wow. If they are using this to drive people to the polls in November it means they think it just might be possible. This would explain, for me, why Nancy Pelosi said impeachment wasn't on the table any longer, God knows we don't want to bring them out of their caves to vote just based on this issue alone. Thought I would share that though, my Dad has become extremely reactionary over the years, and this coming to someone like him, who never exposes himself to politics further than the news once or twice a week is pretty significant.

That argument doesn't make sense. That is why the Democrats should come out strongly, not as middle of the roaders. Bush has been rallying his base for a long time, and now they are a very small minority. This is not the time for Democrats to play small, it is time to start speaking the truth loudly and often. Why can't we rally our base?

Deny we plan to impeach, win, then impeach. Time to use Repuke tactics against them.

I hope so, because nothing else makes sense.
