Bush's secret visit to Baghdad doesn't speak to the secrecy of his...
admin, it speaks to just how chicken-shit he is to expose himself to the odds he would be harmed, the monster he has created; the harm's way he so willingly places the rest of the world in front of daily

3. MSNBC said that Bush was going to "size-up" the new PM -
wants to make sure this new guy is gonna do what's necessary. :eyes:

So Bush was really going there for an inspection, and put his stamp of approval on the new puppet government. Snap a few pics too.

7. Exactly right,

How is this going to play to the Iraqi citizens and the rest of the world. It looked more like the "Boss" showing up unannounced to make sure that things are running as planned.

What soveriegn nation would accept any leader at a moments notice unless of course that country was an occupied nation with a puppet government. And since the Iraqi Prime Minister had no idea that the president of the United States was coming shows that he is not in control of anything. Imagine the security that this latest episode took, and the prime minister knows nothing until 5 minutes before. It will surely point out to the Iraqi's that things are no different then when Sadam was in "Charge".

This is going to backfire.

6. What it proves is that Karl Rove is a great political showman
This is political theater.

They will use this for all its worth and beat the drums until November.

The question is will the Democrats stand together and expose this show for what it's worth?
