AMERICAN VOTERS!!! - Republicans are bad for business
Edited on Tue Jun-13-06 07:40 PM by sweetheart
DO you wonder why the economy is near collapsing. Read this, and vote them out before this gets worse.

The following article is from britain's most conservative newspaper, the torygraph. You can imagine
what more progressive people might believe, and where this is going.

It's risky all round doing business with the Americans

'They like us because we are not American." I hear this a lot these days both in the City and in business. Whether you are a bank trying to rustle up new accounts in the Far East or a manufacturer seeking exports abroad, a common theme among management is the advantage, when competing in the global economy, of being British.

Our government has so far not proved adept at exploiting this on behalf of business in places such as China, especially compared to our European rivals.

However, we seem to be doing a pretty good job ourselves, thanks very much.

Americans, though, are seen to have become riskier people to do business with. Many of them will be surprised by that view from over here, given the no doubt cordial relations which still exist between our two business communities. The risks, however, come not from business but from Congress and its agencies.

1. This article is wormsign
This thread is an ultra-heavy element floating in a sea of fluff of today's divisive
leopolrovhuthoutush bollocks, don't miss wormsign, and how this ripples in to the market data.

Risk managers the world over are watching this article like hawks. This could mean a dolla run.
We could be closer to a 1929 situation than ever before in my lifetime.

4. Its just bad business
Americans used to be the most common sense practical business people on earth,
and suddenly the ideology has taken over from the common sense, and what next?

If this is the view in the capital of America's closest ally, Lord only
knows that they whisper in capitals of nonaligned nations.

This sorta thing will only deteriorate as everyone starts on with the
economic nationalism, sharebuybacks to keep the companies looking strong
when the reality is that they have no investment opportunties under bush
except to buy their own shares to keep them from tanking.
