Rove is playing Fitz like a violin
If Christy Hardin Smith at Firedoglake's analysis is is correct, the Turd Blossom escaped indictment by pledging "ongoing cooperation" -- and Fitz fell for it.

Rove gets a free pass through the midterm elections.

Rove always knew he'd get a pardon. His goal is to string it out as long as he can. The Libby trial isn't till January. That's when the lying traitorous slimebag will renege on his promise to Fitz and Fitz will haul him off. By then the elections are over and he stays out on bail awaiting trial knowing he'll be pardoned before the case even comes to court.

Fitz is a good and honest and smart man, but he just got played.

9. Not so funny
Fitz doesn't give a squat about the political implications of what he does or doesn't do, and rightly so. I'm sure he's doing the right thing and he's probably doing it as best as anyone can. I just don't trust these bush bastards any farther than I can throw them.

Turd Blossom got exactly what he wanted, again.

There's only one place that can keep him from wreaking havoc on our political system.

7. Taking back America and fighting for our Rights isn't up to "Fitz."
It's up to US...so whatever Fitz does or doesn't do....with Rove or the rest of the Crooks...means nothing if one is looking out towards the future..

8. Means nothing?
I get your point, but it would have been a tremendous help to get KKKarl out of the picture before campaign season. They always seem to succeed in delaying truth until after the elections.

Justice deferred is justice denied.

10. Rove is not out of the woods, yet
I don't know if Fitz got played or if he just didn't have any other choice. But I have a feeling, if he's involved, Fitz will get him eventually. Of course, he can't control a Bush pardon.
