4. The man is just too stupid to be president.
Asking a blind man to remove his sunglasses.

The only consolation in all of this is we'll never have another president this dumb ever again once he's gone.

19. The man is too unsympathetic to be a member of the Human Race.
He's a self serving self absorbed self righteous(with no reason too be) a$$hole. He needs to be taken down a peg or two.

Wallsten said Bush’s comments did not offend him at all. “I never advertise it to him. I’ve never told him.”

22. He never ADVERTISED it to him?
Of course he didn't tell him, when was the last time a reporter got the chance to have a one on one with Shrub discussing physical frailties?

So Shrub & Co. get another apology from the victim.

And, infortunately, his response was what I expected.

8. The liberal doctrine of infallibility
at work here. Obviously the blind man is using his handicap to ensure that the president cannot question his question. This man needs to be savaged by ann coulter. How dare he put the president in a position to look like a total fucking moron. And obviously his blindness prevents him from seeing that bush needs no help in looking like a total fucking moron.

"I mean, heh heh heh, if he was blindified, heh heh heh, he can't see, see, so why, uh, uh, would he, uh, heh heh heh, need them shades for?"

Mr.bush is an insensitive idiot.

13. Whoa. I'm not sure the guy is blind.
Even if he is, bush's remark is just a boneheaded example of his faux bonhomie with reporters. I detest bush, but this is just silly.

16. I could actually forgive shrub for not knowing that the guy is blind..

But it was obvious that * was pissed that someone would show him such DISRESPECT to wear sunglasses to an outdoor event and not remove them before asking the chimperator a question. Such arrogance has been a hallmark of this mis-administration since * occupied the People's White House

17. It really shows what kind of person he really is.
He demands obedience from the underlings! Nobody should get away with such an affront!! (such an insecure little man.)

I guess blind journalists should hang big signs around their necks next time saying, "Blind". Of course then they'd be thrown out for having an opinion.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1426529

Q Is the tide turning in Iraq?

THE PRESIDENT: I think -- tide turning -- see, as I remember -- I was raised in the desert, but tides kind of -- it's easy to see a tide turn -- did I say those words?

......from Wednesday's Press Conference.

you know, the one he uses to "relate" to the Arab experience. Freshly used in his little show boat visit to help "break the ice" with the brand new puppet, er... Prime Minister.

Evidently 'To Stupid For Prime Time' thought that if a reporter is talking to you wearing shades, then he is challenging your manhood. Never mind the fact that common sense tells you he is blind! Hello, body language? Bush lowers the bar everytime he appears in public.

Bullies always pick on guys that are the least able to fight back. Did Junior kick the guy, or just slap him around? I'll bet Bush is sorry...sorry that the guy wasn't a 90 year old blind grandma. Bush is feeling like the Commander in Chief again, since he's been in the Combat Zone kicking some serious ass!
