Who ever heard of anything anymore ungawdly than peace...
appropriations? Holy Sheiite!

It takes a horribly demented liberal mind, to even think, of something as "Ungodly" as peace, in any way shape or form! You people are about to split HELL wide open if you don't REPENT ASAP...

8. Not a clue.
I cherish honesty and vision above politicking. DK is just that, honest and visionary. He can also be very practical but he always is thinking out of the box with his basic condition that it be good for the US, the people and the world. I don't know what it up with all that, I am certain that some of it is just personal taste but if I had a dime for everyone who said that they thought he was great but not electable well, you know how that goes.

you're generous-of-spirit.

What are you doing in the United States, and how can we be lucky enough to keep you?

Hi, MuseRider.

You take care of those horses for me. I just know they're in good hands.

are amazing. :loveya:

I am closing on my loan to construction in an hour so I will finally be able to live on my farm with my horses, grow my own food, have some chickens and basically be an outsider to all of this mess. Not that I won't be involved but I need this peace and the extra time I will have to continue my work.

I really wish I was half those things you mention but I do take good care of my critters, that I will claim.

How could I leave with people like you here?

Peace.

Now I will go throw up, this loan business scares the crap out of me.

up front that you aren't taking any bullshit this afternoon, and if they don't like it, they're going to get soaked but good.

If you wind up on that farm, I wish you all the unmitigated space and quietude it can offer.

Bravo!

13. Hey there, lonestarnot. Hey -- we both share a respect for the man.
I had written a letter of objection to ABC News when Ted Koppel had Kucinich on and behaved dismissively toward him.

I'm not anti-Koppel 100% of the time, but I felt his behavior toward Kucinich was uncalled for.

Kucinich's supporters love him to death, and I always find them very easy to talk with.

The guy's class act.

Dennis Kucinich, though, made me the liberal thinker I am today - he was also the first example I saw in taking on the corruption of local government when he was mayor of Cleveland.

Cong. Lousie Slaughter was brilliant on CSPAN...I'd sure rather see her than that Jane Harmon all the time.

22. I respect Kucinich, and agree with a lot that he says, but....
.... I don't have a lot of confidence in his ability to be a particularly good President. (Yah, a lot better than gw, but c'mon - that's setting the bar pretty low.)

I get the feeling (based on insufficient evidence, admittedly) that he's long on idealism, and short on practical requirements. Like Nader in that respect, although without the bombastic ego.

I could be convinced otherwise - I'd have to see more of him in action. That's my impression though.

Oh - and is he an out-and-out pacifist? If so, that would be an example of what I mean by long-on-idealism-short-on-real-world-practicality.

26. I believe
he voted to go into Afghanistan. He does know his responsibility to our country. He promised he would vote for what was good for the country even if he did not personally agree with it (abortion as an example, he was able to come up with a plan he could live with after educating himself about what it really means to the citizens of this country).

My friends were worried about "electability" and all that talking-head horse-race crap, but I think that if you vote for the guy whose policies will be best for the country, the electability will take care of itself.

At least I hope it will. Some day.

32. Yep. Here's some proof of DK's brilliance and excellent judgement:
The Bloodstained Path
by U.S. Congressman Dennis Kucinich
The Progressive

November 2002 issue

Unilateral military action by the United States against Iraq is unjustified, unwarranted, and illegal. The Administration has failed to make the case that Iraq poses an imminent threat to the United States. There is no credible evidence linking Iraq to 9/11. There is no credible evidence linking Iraq to Al Qaeda. Nor is there any credible evidence that Iraq possesses deliverable weapons of mass destruction, or that it intends to deliver them against the United States.
