Louise Slaughter on WJ tomorrow (Thursday)
Dear VLR,

I wanted to let you know I will be on C-SPAN tomorrow morning to talk about Iraq. I will be appearing on C-SPAN's Washington Journal tomorrow at 8:40 am EST to talk about the Republican Leadership’s effort to score cheap and shameless political points by staging a sham Iraq debate this week in the House of Representatives.

I hope you tune in tomorrow morning and watch the show. If you have any comment or feedback from watching the show, please post your thoughts on my campaign blog:

I also wanted to let you know that today I joined Leader Nancy Pelosi and Congressman John Tierney in a press conference and renewed our call to bring about a Truman style commission to Iraq. We need a Truman style commission in Iraq that will audit every penny that has been or is being spent there. You can join our calls for a Truman Commission by signing our petition today:

Sign the petition and pass it on to everyone you know.

Thank you again for all you do to restore faith in our democracy.
