2. Weird, I was just thinking the same thing
I just heard yet another news story about that, and it made me think...WTF?

I mean, are we really supposed to believe that Al-Zarqi, who couldn't find the trigger on his own gun, is actually traveling from safe-house to safe-house with a file cabinet full of maps and formal plans and stuff? Try to imagine this, really. What the hell kind of records could they have found that are so exciting? Did Al-Zarqi keep a date book with "Ahmed to Bomb 10:15 Bus Thursday" and the receipts for his bomb making supplies? You know, for tax purposes, I guess.

I too tend to agree that this "treasure trove of documents" is bullshit. They want us to think this is a slick band of well-organized para-military with tight-knit command structure. Yeah, right.

4. The old "intact incriminating document in the rubble" trick
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 09:43 AM by rocknation
Remember when they found a terrorist's passport in the WTC rubble? And Al-Qaeda "job applications" in a safe? Also, has it ever occured to them that announcing these "finds" gives the enemy a wide berth to CHANGE their plans, which can only prolong the conflict? How dumb do they think we are?

8.  but is it bad for Bush if they "caught it in time" and can stop it?
I just don't believe what I'm reading. I feel like I'm living in a novel written by a fifteen year old.

7. Well Duuuhhhh. ....That's always been Osama's goal
He's always wanted to provoke confrontation between the US and the Middle East.

Unforftunately we allowed him to play us like a violin. By picking a fught with Iraq over 9-11, we played right into his hands.

Rather than being a justification for our idiotic Iraq invasion, it just proves that the US screwed the pooch by provoking that war in the first place.
