Poll question: Best way to deal with Ann Coulter?

I'm amazed by the stir she causes around here, and usually I'm able to resist posting anything about her. But I'd like to know why people feel the need to respond to the obvious crap she spews forth.

I wish I could take a Stewartian (as in Jon) attitude and just laugh at their ridiculousness, but I take the suffering these people cause far too seriously. Laughing is far more effective than ranting.

What they want is attention & one way to get it is to squawk like a parrot that isn't getting enough attention. The louder they squawk the more attention they seek & often get. They way to shut up a squawking parrot is to throw a blanket over their cage & ignore them. The one thing these idiots teach us is that just because you squawk the loudest doesn't make you right.

craves attention. If no one responded to her outrageous comments she wouldn't get nearly the amount of attention that she does now. The wingnuts don't really read her trash, they just love the way it stirs things up and gives them a excuse to ridicule liberals. If they were the only ones talking about her and her books she wouldn't get much coverage at all.
