New Poll: NJ Senate Menendez leads Kean 43-36
Interim Senator Robert Menendez now leads his GOP rival Tom Kean, Jr., best known as the son of a popular former governor by seven-points--43% to 36%. An April poll gave Menendez a 40-34 point lead.

This is good news as the GOP had/has hopes of capturing this seat by using the Kean name to win.

Independents will be the decider of this race (probably) and right now they favor Menendez by two-points with lots of undecideds.

Before, he wasn't doing so well. I don't think it will be a problem holding this one.

Regardless of political leanings, it just isn't in the nature of a real New Jerseyite to buy into bullshit. That's why though it may turn purple, New Jersey will NEVER turn red! VIA MENDEZ!!!
