GESTAPO Calling...

The SCOTUS is anti-American, pro Nazi. What a calamity.

7. At least the GESTAPO did knock.
They want to catch some evil terrorist with a THC encrusted roach clip, planning to blow his or her mind with an EVIL weed of some kind!

Meanwhile the REAL threats to ALL humanity, give themselves a raise and get ready for their summer vacations, at our expense.

2. I wonder how many innocent people will be killed or injured due to

this decision.

No knock means if they're at the wrong address, have bad intelligence, or something along those lines, innocent people will be involved. Innocent people who may grab a gun to protect themselves, not expecting or anticipating that anyone is looking for them.

Our country's forefathers are rolling over in their graves over this.

Americans must put a stop to this infringement of our rights. INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY is the law. Knocking down doors without knocking doesn't sound like people are viewed as innocent to me.

Edit: Clarity.

4. They still need a warrant, at least for the moment.
But we know the Bush administration is trying to do away with those too.
:grr:

5. Hmmm, time to start strengthening our doors perhaps
There are a number of ways to strengthen an ordinary door in order to make it much harder, if not impossible to break down with the means that cops have at their disposal. Crossbars, reinforcemnt posts, etc. Think I'll start looking into such constructions. Not because I have anything to hide, but frankly if a cop ever decides to knock my door down, they're going to be facing several very protective, large dogs. And I really don't want them shooting my dogs.

9. I have found that one of the most difficult doors to deal with
is one that is held shut with thick rubber bungies(sp?). The battering ram breaks the door, lock, and hinges, but the rubber straps just returns the door to the opening once the energy of the ram is expended. It won’t stop them forever, but there will be no surprise and plenty of time to arm yourself with an automatic rifle.

If you have glass doors or large windows, trip wires mounted just below knee level and just above waist height will cause considerable loss of concentration and yield an easy target.

If you’re into electronics, a big Tesla coil that is connected to a motion sensor will deal with even the bravest adversary. It is unaffected by body armor and will make any metal being carried into a lightening rod. My latest machine will light 5’ streamers in all directions and scares the hell out all who have seen it. If you think that a little 50,000 volt Taser is fun, just tangle with a megavolt or more.
