Congressional Band to Entertain the Troops (take a listen....)
House Band Haven't our troops serving in the Middle East been through enough hardships? Now they must endure performances by the Second Amendments, a band made up entirely of members of the House of Representatives. The group will be touring Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Pakistan and Ramstein Air Base in Germany over the holidays, conducting fact-finding missions by day and performing at night. Click here, if you dare, to hear a snippet of the group doing grave damage to the memory of the Beatles.

WASHINGTON (AP) - They may be politicians, but they're also a little bit country and a little bit rock 'n' roll.

An all-congressional band known as the Second Amendments will perform for U.S. troops over the holidays during a trip to the Middle East and Europe.

The bipartisan rock and country band features Reps. Collin Peterson, D-Minn., on guitar and lead vocals; Thaddeus McCotter, R-Mich., on lead guitar; Dave Weldon, R-Fla., on bass; Jon Porter, R-Nev., on keyboards; and Kenny Hulshof, R-Mo., on drums.

1. Will John Ashcroft tag along
and sing "Let The Mighty Eagle Soar"?

2. I was going to say
"lyrics by J.A.?"

Aren't our fighting men and women enduring enough hell, that they would be hit with Ashcroft, too?
