re: Iraq War Resolution - my 2-cent ranting opinion
seems to me the GOPers have spent more time trying to come up with a plan to use the Iraq War as a campaign stunt than they did debating the original resolution to go to freaking war in the first place.

They came prepared with a a 75-page play book prepared by the pentagon - that probably has more 'useful' information in it than the intel the congress was presented with prior to the original freaking resolution to invade iraq.

this current stunt resolves nothing. It doesn't require bush to come up with a plan beyond "make it up as you go". It doesn't bring our troops home. It doesn't "hunt Bin-Laden down". It doesn't make insurgents, terrorists stop what they are doing. It does CRAP. Bupkus. Nada. Nothing. Zero. Zip.

Instead of "debating" this stupid campaign stunt - the Democrats should do thier own stunt - denounce the stupid "debate" and walk out. SHUT DOWN THE CONGRESS.
