Boehner: Victory in Iraq....."for our kids" ???WTF???

"Retreat is not an option in Iraq," declared House Majority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio. "Achieving victory is our only option, for the American people and our kids."

This quote just boils my blood. I HATE HATE HATE when any politician hides behind children to justify something.

ARGGGGGHHHH. This *ahem* War debate was so mindless and so worthless.

I had a nightmare last night about Iraq. I dreamt of corpses in concrete rubble. I woke shaken and disturbed. I thought of my own wife. My own 11 year old son. I think of all the thousands of lives Bush** & Co have shattered. The damage they have wrought will never be repaired. They have created generations upon generations of children who will see this is how we do things...we maim and destroy.

What we have done for our kids by being involved in Iraq is to create a whole new generation of enemies.

And we thought Osama was evil? The sins of the American fathers will be visited for generations on the American sons in new and twisted ways.

Would someone PLEASE think of the CHILDREN!!

in any context, prepare to give your rights, your wallet, and your military away to him.

That's what they DO, these old white men who are SO concerned for the CHILDREN.

when the kids grow up, the only job prospect they will have is joining the military. If we leave Iraq, there will be less need for soldiers. Thus, staying in Iraq will provide job opportunities for our children!
