11. i just can't anymore...
Edited on Sat Jun-17-06 10:40 PM by QuestionAll
i'm too damn tired of the lies and the spin.
we all know what the real story is(at least we hope we know, or at least suspect the extent of it- those unkown unkowns can really sneak up on you...)
i'm 45- and disabled- with a condition that will make me very lucky to last another 30 years.
my future is set-
a trillion dollar-plus war means that there won't be any money for real meaningful change in the social safety net...infrastructure will deterioate further...that money is just gone- it's not coming back.

and nobody will EVER be held accountable- at least not the people responsible- for ANY of it...and deep down- we all(at least those of us who have been paying attention since nixon or before) know this to be true. and being an atheist, i can't even hope for divine/kharmic retribution- and something tells me that everyone involved with this mis-administration knows just as well that their "immortal soul" doesn't exist, and is therefore not in danger either.

stolen elections- at least 3, probably more- and definitely more to come- (be prepared, in case you aren't)...
but even if they were to prove(to the american people, in the MSM..LOUDLY) that were the case- the justices on the supreme court are already confirmed(and over 2 very long years left to add to that)- they can't/won't be recalled...the war in iraq won't be un-done...dead soldiers won't return from the grave- nor will innocent iraqi civillians...kyoto won't be ratified, the price of gas won't go down(and it shouldn't anyway- we've been getting an extremely/relatively cheap ride for a long time).

the future of my country, economically anyway- (and all that goes along with that) is set.

yippee.
