CNN's "Dead Wrong"......
The "Wow" factor from this program was the one guy who said "if you don't provide the information the President wants, prepare to resign".....

'Dead Wrong: Inside an Intelligence Meltdown'

President Bush's case for pre-emptive war against Iraq was based substantially on evidence that Saddam Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction. But a presidential commission described the pre-war intelligence as "dead wrong." "CNN Presents" pieces together the chain of events that led to the faulty intelligence.

"Dead Wrong: Inside an Intelligence Meltdown" airs Saturday and Sunday at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. ET.

2. Poll ratings about to dip yet again.... pity. Somehow Iraq was

painted as the source of the 19 hijackers, and now Iraqi citizens have been painted as terrorists. What a great propaganda machine we have here in the land of plenty, outsourced jobs, missing healthcare, and non-recovery from natural disasters.

3. The CIA is directly controlled by the President
If you don't like the info... twist it. I found it interesting that the CIA wasn't comfortable with the issue of Niger shiping Iraq any nuclear anything... so in the speach.. Bush cites British Intelligence. With that statement right there, tricky little Bush essentially made the British viable accomplises in the invasion of Iraq.

I also found it interesting how the White House gave Colin Powell a little written speach to address the UN. Powell sat around with it for 4 days trying to get the evidence behind the laundry list.

But I didn't like the way that CNN angled the entire war on the feet of the CIA. The CIA is directly by the President... is a wonder the agency is so damn crooked?

4. Meltdown? Bullspit. It wasn't an intelligence meltdown....
It was cherry picked intelligence that got sent to Congress as rationalle to go war. When it turned out to be 'bad intelligence', the CIA was scapegoated. Bad intelligence my butt. If I worked for the intelligence community after what George Bush has done to expose and blame, I'd be furious.

Do you think I've been propangandized? (SP?) I've forgotten: when Tenet stepped down, whatever, did he do this because he was pissed at * or because the CIA got blamed for what * did?
