Shocker: Evidence of G-RATED Olbermann Replies to Anti-Semitic E-Mailers!

I just found something I thought might prove an interesting contrast to the picture that Keith Olbermann's American freeper enemies are currently trying to paint of him as a foul-mouthed bastard who routinely uses his MSNBC e-mail account to spout obscenities at everyone and anyone on the planet who disagrees with him about anything.

This material was posted on a message board called War Without End, run by a group of British anti-Semitics who learned that KO has no intention of addressing the recent Mearsheimer/Walt paper on the so-called "pro-Israel lobby" on his show, and thus have taken him to task repeatedly in e-mail for it.

On their board, a poster known as "Alpha" has posted a series of supposed e-mails between Olbermann and a James Morris. In these e-mails, Olbermann states simply, succinctly and clearly (and repeatedly) why he sees no reason to address the paper or its claims on Countdown, despite the arguments pressed on him by Morris for doing so.

At one point, he is quoted as saying:

please keep your prejudice to yourself -- don't write to me again.

(A far cry from "Go f- your mother," eh?)

Here, he is deliberately baited--told that obviously, as an MSNBC employee, he's just a tool of the GE war machine and thus a neocon, a supporter of the Iraq war, and helping to cover up the secret plan to make Iran the next country the US attacks "for Israel." Also, that he "wouldn't dare" tell the truth about how 9/11 is all Israel's fault. Etc., etc., etc.

Olbermann's replies, however, remain calm and considered throughout this exchange. At only one point does he even indulge in what could legitimately be called "snark."

And, oh, "Alpha" begins this post by questioning parenthetically whether the reason Olbermann fails to see the paper as anything of importance is "because he is Jewish as well?" BZZZZT! Nice try, thanks for playing. Olbermann has stated on air that he was raised in the Unitarian faith. Which is as much as he's ever said publicly about belonging to any organized religion. But heck, if you're an anti-Semite and you don't at least TRY to accuse a man with a German surname of disagreeing with you merely because he's Jewish, I guess you're just not trying very hard, right? :sarcasm:

And when you do, remember who posted this: anti-Semites who hate Olbermann because he refuses to play their game. But even they don't present the picture of a man who, when repeatedly pestered in his e-mail by those who disagree with him, can't respond without bursting into a flurry of obscenities. They have every motivation for making his replies look as rude, crude and obscene as possible. Yet...they don't.

Please don't tell me that anti-Semites in Britain play fairer than our homegrown American freepers when one of our cable news personalities fails to push their agenda? That's just too scary a thought for me to process just yet.

of which they have 4 or 5 - postable only by one member. Some look pro-Israel, some anti. Perhaps it's their solution for how to calm down Israel/Palestine debate - give the truly committed somewhere to post their stuff without it being interrupted by refutations, attacks etc. It says comments should go in the main forums.

All I know is, this child may be alone in his playpen, but he has buds who have posted on their own blogs about how KO's responses to these e-mails prove that he is just a part of the Eevul Pro-Israel Media. So he's not entirely alone.

Everyone and their momma knows Olbermann is taking the heat for his "underlings".

But I do agree that this is a huge non-issue, and am perfectly willing to wait to see what he has to say about it.
