Adults Get Bad Grades In Teen Report Card
Teens Advise Parents To 'Practice What You Preach'

CHICAGO -- Year books and report cards -- two definite ways to tell that school is officially over for the year.

But in the UCAN survey released Friday, it was adults -- not students -- who got graded. And apparently, parents nationwide and in Chicago didn't make the grade this year.

They failed in a number of life's lessons deemed important to teens. Some of those who helped hand out the scores offered their advice for how parents can improve.

"We want leaders who are honest, trustworthy, cooperative, motivated, well-spoken and open-minded," one teen said.

"Stop being hypocritical; practice what you preach," another teen advised.
