i got this from a Freeper site. one suggested Republicans reach out to Muslim "moderates" like this guy on their common position of hating gays and women's rights.

That "reach out" guy had to be joking. If they met a US Constitution-loving, church and state separating, philanthropic, pacific Muslim who gave them all swimming pools and new Dodge pickups because he liked them, they'd commend him for his broadmindedness before throwing him off a building. There are no good Muslims in Green Snotball Land, except dead ones. That's a cornerstone of the site's existence.

I mean, why would a conservative site be named that? Anyone know? It just seems like such an odd name for such a hateful site.

It was originally a webdesign outfit for the Johnson bros. Charles Johnson is also a longtime easy jazz/fusion guitar player, has played and recorded with such notables as Stanley Clarke and Al Jarreau. And he's ostensibly a liberal. After 911, he blew a gasket and turned the site into a forum/showcase for his Kill The Muslims monomania.
