3. Yep
Kinda fascinating watching all of those longhaired radical rat bastards - to think that my ancestor returned to duty three times despite grave wounds (until Washington himself dismissed him from battle with the words: "my thanks and the graditude of Your Nation follow you") just so a bunch of draft dodgers could send American boys half way around the world to block bullets for a lie.

4. I know it's good stuff
I was just thinking about how radical and crazy we really were. I am planning on teching high school history when I get out next year and I got an idea watching this show. Lemmie know what you think of this idea.

A mock trial, much like the one that history teacher did for W. Putting Franklin, Adams, Washington, Hancock and Jefferson on the docket for treason.

10. Sounds like a great idea.
We need something to get future generations thinking about what they have and how they got it, and how it can be lost.

5. Yes, I'm watching it every Sunday night and I love it. It just puts.....
....a human face of how this country came about in the first place. It also makes me wonder if these jerks in the WH today even give a crap about what our forefathers went through to get this country started.

7. I've seen only one episode so far. Very good.
I missed the first one, but the second was quite good.

8. Another great one. "The Last Day of WWI"
Either on The History Channel or The History Channel International.

Shows how, literally, thousands of allied soldiers were killed needlessy when they were oredered "over the top" to take (or, attempt to take) positions and towns that they could have strolled into a few hours later. Over 3000 American casualties because the brass wanted their share of glory.

9. I've been watching every week.
It's great stuff. Americans today just don't realize how radical the ideas of our founders really were. They would be appalled to see what lives in the White House today. :(
