Shadow govt of federal contractors has exploaded over last 5 years.
Federal contracts the fastest growing component of federal descretionary spending.
Spending increase of 86%
Puts total US federal procurement at 377.5 billion annually
And a whole bunch of that money has been wasted.
(I wonder sometimes if anyone will ever sit down and figure out just how much money this adm. actually spent on nothing. It will be trillions of dollars).
I have not paid much attention of how many "no bidders" wetn on in past administrations but it seems this one has more then their share. No smart business would ever operate that way. No matter who pays they want the most bang for the buck so they can spend that savings on other things. It's just common sense. Why are they allowed such a blank check, especially when there is a shortfall in every state and even the military is squeezing turnips to get supplies. And yet the spending goes on,like some crazed five year old who found a $10 bill in the street!
