Guess I was wrong again. :eyes:

NEW YORK Ann Coulter hasn't lost any of her 100-plus newspaper clients, or the support of her syndicate, Universal Press Syndicate, despite her nasty remarks in her new book about 9/11 widows and her comment in an online interview implying that, perhaps, U.S. Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) should be "fragged."

A Universal spokesman said there were no discussions going on there about dropping the columnist.

Why is Coulter keeping all her subscribers? "Ann's client newspapers stick with her because she has a loyal fan base of conservative readers who look forward to reading her columns in their local newspapers," Universal Director of Communications Kathie Kerr said in a statement, after being queried today by E&P.

Of course, if there were truly any justice in this world, there would be a complete and utter discrediting and humilation of each and every hate merchant like this, starting by showing how they knowingly leech off societies faults for their own benefit, profit and attention.

But that's just me.

1. Counterpoint:
"100-plus newspapers" is actually a very small amount for an allegedly popular, nationally syndicated columnist. I would argue that the reason no newspapers are dropping Coulter is that all of the ones that would have done so (i.e. the ones with sane editors) have done so already.

3. Ours here in San Diego sure hasn't.

The U-T runs her garbage all the time. They also fired James Goldborough last year, who was their only semi-liberal columnist, and hired a right wing nut job to take his place named Ruben Navarette. I have not even been able to read the OP-ED section of my newspaper since then.

A pity, because I used to get LTTE's published all the time, and used to actually enjoy reading the various columns.

Now it's just turned into fox-news on paper. But, then what do you expect from the same county that just elected the lobbyist that was bribing Cunningham to Dukes old congressional seat?

4. Well, you're one of the "lucky" hundred or so...
sorry :(

But, nevertheless, that's a tiny amount for someone of Coulter's supposed stature. Similar columnists enjoy three of four times as many outlets

2. Very good point.
If the media is so "liberal", then why do they constantly hire people that attack liberal values and ideals?

You'd think that Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Alex Baldwin and Susan Sarandon would be regular guests on talk shows. They'd probably have their own shows.

But no, we get Coulter, O'Reilly, Scarborough, Matthews and Russert. Yeah, we love them.

And why does the media fire and shut out liberals? O'Donahue was canned. Air America was just booted out of Atlanta. Faux News is all that the troops in Iraq can watch.

Liberal media, my ass.
