Dean on harball
He was great, watch it if you can on the repeat. One warning though, Noron O'Donnell is the host tonite. She basically gushed over George (racist) Allen. God, she really is an idiot!!! But, Howard Dean ran circles around her.

She also keeps bringing up the fact that John Kerry is offering an amendment in which he pushes back the date for Iraqi redeployment until July 1, 2007, as if that is something that is so newsworthy. yuck, i can't stand her.

2. She is openly hostile to Dean, she practically spits when talking to him.
He gave her a good "what for" pretty handily, however.

13. He Needs To Call Them That....
He needs to come out and expose them. They try to look all impartial, and play both sides of the fence, when it's completely obvious to any liberal, that they're against us, and would be happier if the repubs continue to control everything. Then they and their corporate media buddies can continue to spew mindless and false propaganda.

5. Thank you -
I think Dean has it right here.

It is a rotten shell this GOP.

You push them Howard - they will collapse -

Dean is a smart guy - He really does have the right idea.

The DLC sent nice pamphlets on the "Democracy Bond" - great concept. Great name.

You go Howard, I am with you!!!

6. When I see nora o'donnell
has hosted or interviewed I know two things. One, she's going to pull a mediawhore tight ass drilling on the Dems and two, she's going to suck and slobber all over the neoCONS like nora's letting her boss at msrnc know she's going above and beyond the call of duty. :P

8. Why Don't These Guests Call Out The Hosts?
If we're smart enough to see that a dipshit like Whora is anti-democrat, and is gearing her interview and questions towards Dean in a completely biased manner....then why doesn't someone like Dean call Bullshit?

I realize he needs to maintain a professional attitude, and he wants to continue being invited on these shows, but just once, I'd like for a Democrat to come right out and say what we're all thinking. He should just say, "Listen Norah, do you want to hear a truthful explanation, or are you just interested in kissing up to your good friend George and his repub buddies?"

These repub Assholes just spin and spin and LIE and LIE, and figure they can attack, argue and talk over the democratic guests, and impose their "authority" on them. If the democratic leaders are so insistent upon appearing on biased shows like Softball, who believe in slanting the news in the direction they feel suits them, then it's way past time that one of the democrats puts them in their place, even if it means telling them off on live tv. I'm so g-damn sick of repub fantasizers like wolf, o'donnell, tweety, russert, getting away with this crap on a daily basis. Can't someone stand up to them?

11. That's Our Problem.....We're So Niiiiiiiiiice.
Not that I see anything wrong with that, it's just the other side does not believe in playing nice. The word is not in the kkk rover vocabulary.

I think that these people have begun to assume that we're going to be "nice" little democrats. That they can just LIE and talk over us, and make us appear weak.

That's one of the great things about Colbert. He's actually one of us, but he tricks the other side into thinking he's one of them, by basically putting them down without them realizing it. Unfortunately, these talk show schmucks are a little more intelligent, and they are less likely to fall for sarcasm. It will take someone like Dean or Murtha or Feingold, to expose them for the biased repubs that they are. Instead of them being able to pose as impartial "journalists." They all have an agenda.

Even Olbermann has an agenda, even though he's one of us. The exception is that he is far more accurate, and seldom attacks his guests or tries to make them look bad. I can't say the same about wolfie, whora, tweety or timmie.

Mean when he wants to!

I shouldn't have said "nice" ..I really mean that it can be done in way to let them know not to continue that shit cause we're not gonna take it ANYMORE!

It's definetly reached way beyond the Boiling Point!

12. Nora O'Donnell reminds me of the girls in high school
Edited on Mon Jun-19-06 05:45 PM by Sticky
who just want to hang out with the cool kids. She's overcomplimentary to those in power (in this case, the Republicans) and she shows her worthiness by being nasty to those left out of the clique. She's a coward and and a shill. I've seen the same thing in Andrea Mitchell's reporting. They know darn well they won't get the good cocktail party invitations if they don't smile prettily and show their bush-love.
Shame on them.

15. Dean did great
He usually does, and is refreshingly candid -- but sometimes he tends to trip over his tongue a bit.

But this time he was totally disciplined and on message, and didn't let Mz. Tim Russert Wannabe distract him or throw him off message.

17. REALLY...watch this again if you can.
Howard Dean was fantastic. Norah O'Donnelll was trying to BE Chris Matthews. Without skipping a beat, she was as rude and snotty as Matthews. (I think she is trying to prove to her bosses that she could handle her own show. Arrogance is a must.)

But Dean was on top of all her questions. And for those of you who say we are "too nice". At the very beginning O'Donnell asked a question, and when Dean started to answer, she interrupted. He said, "Wait, wait, let me answer the question you asked me."

O' Donnell had the REPUBLICAN TALKING POINTS right in front of her, and kept coming back with the questions and "slogans" that she has BEEN TOLD to use. (The word "timetable" seems to be the most obvious one.)

Dean had strong, STRONG responses, and IF you want to know where he is leading us....make sure you watch the show.

The one response that I liked (and I am paraphrasing) was when Dean said the Republicans talked tough (had tough slogans) ....BUT...they DON'T HAVE A PLAN. DEMOCRATS HAVE A PLAN....(WHICH HE DID TALK ABOUT.)

He said this....(and get your pencil and paper ready)... The Democrats are tough AND...SMART. WE have a plan. The Republicans TALK tough ("stand up, stand down", "dead or alive", etc.) But they (Republicans) are NOT smart....and they (Republicans) DON'T have a plan.

(There....he gave you the Democratic talking points... I hope you will use them.)

O'Donnell kept wanting to use the word "timetable" (which was given to her by her Republican bosses) and he kept correcting her.

I'm afraid I am not doing justice to Dean's strong position....but PLEASE. PLEASE watch it if you can......and you will see the direction Dean wants to takes us. (Dean also made similar statements to Wolf Blitzer.....I hope I am not mixing the two interview.)

By the way....John Murtha is making similar statements....about the Republicans having the "slogans", but NOT having a plan.

20. I was screaming at that bitch...
While her rudeness to Howard Dean was despicable, what I really hated most was the say she and the two newspaper goons were mocking John Kerry and his call for troop redeployment by 7/1/2007 rather than the end of the year as he had said before. As if she knows anything about waging war and seeking peace - she makes me sick.
