Cutest picture I've seen in a LONG time of orphaned Polar Bear cub
Edited on Tue Jun-20-06 02:54 AM by Up2Late

A four-month-old polar bear cub plays in a pool in the zoo in the Siberian city of Krasnoyarsk June 19, 2006. The weak and hungry orphaned cub was delivered in May from a scientific polar station on Wrangel Island in the Arctic Ocean to the zoo, where it is recovering. (RUSSIA)

Sure, this should probably be a DU Lounge post, but I know there are some softies here too.

It's from the Reuters "Editor's Choice collection for today.

10. Sorry, I didn't mean to make anyone cry...
...I think the little one will be O.K. now, the little one is probably too young to remember it's Momma Bear.

11. Remember Klondike and Snow?
They weren't orphans, per se, but they had to be raised by humans. They were quite the attraction here in Denver.

This little guy is adorable!

Of course, in a couple of years it would be happy to bite your head off, but we won't think about that... ;)
