Blow a Freakers Mind with facts! Clinton MUCH tougher on enforcement.
http://www.sacbee.com/content/politics/story/14269636p-15080671c.html

Few employers penalized for hiring illegal workers

Let's just take a look at the year 1999 and 2000, the last two years of President Clinton's term.

In 1999 (under the Clinton administration) there were over 400 "notices of intent to fine for hiring illegal immigrants". Also in 1999 (under the Clinton administration) there were nearly 3,000 "worksight enforcement arrests". Let me point that out to you again!

***In 1999 (under the Clinton administration) there were over 400 "notices of intent to fine for hiring illegal immigrants". Also in 1999 (under the Clinton administration) there were nearly 3,000 "worksight enforcement arrests".***

Now, let's look at the year 2001 and on since Pretzledent Chimpy was corronated by a 5-4 vote of Republican appointed judges.

In 2004 (under pretzledent Bush, and after the worst terrorist attack in our history) there were 3 THREE "notices of intent to fine for hiring illegal immigrants". Also in 2004 (under pretzledent Bush, and after the worst terrorist attack in our history) there were 159 "worksight enforcement arrests".

Let me put this in terms that even the Freakers and Minutemen can understand.

ENFORCEMENT SCORE FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION: CLINTON-3,400 IN JUST ONE YEAR
BUSH 162 IN ONE ENTIRE YEAR

Makes you wonder who benefits from all that "cheap labor", doesn't it? It couldn't be that the corporations that bought and paid for the Republicans and the media were the ones to benefit from that "cheap labor", could it?

Looks like your emporer not only lacks clothes, he also lacks the moral courage to ENFORCE THE LAWS THAT ARE ON THE BOOKS.

Looks like your emporer and his cronies in the Repuke Party have given a great big sloppy, wet "Fu$% You to the middle class of America.

All I can say is "Thank God we had a President in the Oval Office at one time that enforced the law".

From the Article:

WASHINGTON -- The Bush administration has been lax in enforcing rules against hiring illegal immigrants, federal records show.
Now, lawmakers and administration officials alike insist it's time to get serious. They say they'll do so, in an immigration reform bill that so far remains stalled. But as the newly compiled records reveal, stern declarations sometimes lack real muscle.

Federal agents arrested 953 illegal immigrants at work sites in 2000, congressional investigators reported Monday. By 2004, the work site arrests had fallen to 159. Likewise, 178 employers received notice of a potential fine for hiring illegal immigrants in 2000. In 2004, only three employers received the fine notices.

"It's no wonder that many employers view enforcement as a remote possibility, and any civil penalties as a cost of doing business," Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said Monday. "And it is also no wonder that many Americans are skeptical that the federal government is serious about enforcing the laws."

NEWS FLASH FOR SEN. CORNYN..."YOU ARE THE FUCKING GOVERNMENT, YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE PUTRID FESTERING SLIME-HOLE OF A PARTY

3. Here's more from the Wash Post
The Bush administration, which is vowing to crack down on U.S. companies that hire illegal workers, virtually abandoned such employer sanctions before it began pushing to overhaul U.S. immigration laws last year, government statistics show. Between 1999 and 2003, work-site enforcement operations were scaled back 95 percent by the Immigration and Naturalization Service, which subsequently was merged into the Homeland Security Department. The number of employers prosecuted for unlawfully employing immigrants dropped from 182 in 1999 to four in 2003, and fines collected declined from $3.6 million to $212,000, according to federal statistics. In 1999, the United States initiated fines against 417 companies. In 2004, it issued fine notices to three. The government's steady retreat from workplace enforcement in the 20 years since it became illegal to hire undocumented workers is the result of fierce political pressure from business lobbies, immigrant rights groups and members of Congress, according to law enforcement veterans. Punishing employers also was de-emphasized as the government recognized that it lacks the tools to do the job well, and as the Department of Homeland Security shifted resources to combat terrorism.

7. Folks. This is Important. This could result in a Dem LANDSLIDE this fall
Simply stated, with immigration as a "hot button" issue, the DNC needs to saturate the country with 30 second adds that simply point out the facts. Under Democratic leadership, our laws against hiring illegal immigrants were enforced. Under Republican leadership prosecution for hiring illegal immigrants dropped from 182 in 1999 to FOURin 2004, a 95% decrease in enforcement. Tell Republicans that your sick and tired of them "cutting and running" when it comes to enforcing our laws.

15. Attempted translation
I'm not sure about "ping", but I think it works like this: Some Freepers maintain lists of friends whom they know to be interested in a particular subject. By making a post to the thread and listing all those friends as recipients, the Freeper causes them to be notified of the thread when they log on. The content of such a post is just "ping" so that other readers of the thread know not to look in vain for any content.

Or, I have that completely wrong and it's actually a coded signal to Jack Abramoff to tell him which Republicans are still owed their bribe money.

11. This problem with illegal immigrants is the result of Repuke policies
They constantly bitch about letting the "market forces" solve all of our problems, well, the "market forces" demanded cheap labor, abd the Repukes greased their palms with corporate money and looked the other way.

The Repuks have fought tooth and nail, and raged against those terrible Labor Unions, and they've succeeded in removing workplace safety rules and labor laws all over this country.

They've created their perfect society. A bunch of low paid serfs with no rights, no protection, and no recourse.

Think about it. You can almost close your eyes and hear Repuke politicians saying; "Why should we demand Wal-mart provide benefits, when employees are perfectly happy to work for the wages they get.

19. Repukes have neutered labor unions
If we had strong unions demanding decent wages and working condition and enforcement of the laws that prohibit business from hiring illegal immigrants, this problem would not exist.

Instead, that Ford employee who just had his job out-sourced to Mexico, will vote for the Repuke candidate because; "hey, at least Gays can't get married".

Talk about "stuck on stupid".

18. The freepers just can't face the truth, Bush is a scumbag
who wants to erase the nation of the people, for the people, and by the people from existence:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x1472032

But I do understand the "shock and awe" the Freepers must be experiencing.
Afterall, the discovery that their president is, practically speaking, a traitor, would surely shake anyone who truly cares about the nation to his core.

With all of this, it ought to be a cinch to get back the White House and the Senate from the Neocons. We just need strong candidates who will steadfastly oppose Bush's Neocon policies.

21. peace and prosperity are so out of fashion
get with the times. Abortions are up while Bush is president. And more Americans have died unnatural deaths during W's presidency than any other president since Nixon.

Clinton said it: If you want to live like a Republican, vote for Democrats.

Unfortunately, the Republicans still blame big dog for every problem even though they've had 5 years in the Presidency and 12 years in Congress. They control every branch of government plus the lobbyists and still don't deliver what they've promised.

23. Arrest of illegals falls off Clinton pace
The U.S. Border Patrol increased at a faster rate and apprehended more illegal aliens per year under President Clinton than under President Bush, according to statistics from a new, unpublished congressional research briefing report.

Mr. Bush trails his predecessor on a series of measures of border security, says the briefing from the Congressional Research Service to the House Judiciary Committee, which was based on Department of Homeland Security data.

Mr. Clinton increased the number of Border Patrol agents and pilots by 126 percent over his eight-year term, or an average of 642 per year, while Mr. Bush has averaged 411 new agents per year through 2005, for a total increase of 22.3 percent over his tenure.

Although Mr. Bush last week said his administration has caught and returned 6 million illegal aliens, that's actually a drop from any five-year period during Mr. Clinton's administration, the briefing says.

24. It's Simple
Every dollar that a corporation has to pay a "legal" worker, is one less dollar in the Republicans pockets.

Bush enforcing laws against employers would be like a robber robbing himself.
