Bush at the EU-USA Summit in Vienna: Security Measures on June 20 and 21

On June 20 and 21, 2006, the European Union and the United States are conducting a summit meeting at the Hofburg. For security reasons, from Tuesday evening to Wednesday evening there will be extensive obstruction and traffic due to certain areas being closed to traffic.
Please note: The Imperial Palace and its surrounding area will be closed for the most part. Many businesses, restaurants, and sites around the Imperial Palace will be closed.

Along the route of the Bush convoy, there will be no parking. This is mainly the Ring Boulevard, large parts of the old city, and the route from and to the airport.

On both days, extensive traffic obstructions are expected, including the roads from and to the airport. Please use alternate means of transportation, such as the CAT and the S-Bahn. Please note: The Stadtpark underground station will likely be closed as well.

Sorry Wieners. We hate him too but we are sort of glad he's gone from here for a brief time. Sorry it is such a bitch for Chimpy to come to town. We have to live with him for lo these past 6 long years.
:(
edit: sp.

3. So could this one.
IIRC, * took a batallion of Marines, an aircraft carrrier and three C-5 Galaxies full of stuff to the G-8 summit in Scotland last year.
