we need leaders with the courage to advocate "cutting and running..."

...without being drawn into semantic debates, if that's what it takes to end the horror of the war against Iraq. So to Hastert, and Frist, and all their colleagues I say "damn right, America should cut and run from Iraq." Anyone of good character cuts and runs from circumstances that would involve them in commiting a crime, and the war against Iraq is utterly criminal in every respect. People of good conscience cut and run from deliberate acts of evil, and aggression against the people of Iraq is evil without any redemption whatsoever.

There is no shame in "cutting and running" from shameful conduct. A coward finds it easier to stay the course than to admit his error and stop it.

I support anyone who wants to "cut and run" from Iraq. It's time for Americans to stop kidding themselves. The war against Iraq is a disaster that is doing great harm to America, both at home and abroad. Cutting and running is the only sensible course to take. Call it whatever you like, but "cutting and running" is just fine with me.

BTW. It is Bush's War. And it is long over. It is time to end the occupation and turn the country back to those who live there. It is time to use our heads and protest our real interests.

We need to educate people that the occupation of Iraq is NOT making America safer against terrorism. Our occupation has nothing to do with terrorism except that it's making it proliferate.

....Kerry, Dean, and others have come out with "Lie and Die" as well as "Stay and Pay" to counteract the "cutting and running". Democrats/Liberals are trying to counteract the Neocons but of course that liberal media must have other looked it.

every time Wolfie, Tucker, Matthews, Scarborough, Hannity, Gibson (both of them), Beck, and all the rest of them shoot the "cut n run" talking point at them. Every single time, just say, "Cut n run? We say Cut the Crap!.." then continue with the plan/position to end the occupation.

By "counteracting" the GOP accusations dems simply validate that "cutting and running" is cowardly. By trying so hard to dodge the label they give it power. "Stay and pay," "lie and die"-- there's nothing wrong with those slogans, but by trying to shift the semantics away from the dreaded "cut and run" Kerry and Dean display their real cowardice-- the fear of facing the truth about what America has done in Iraq, and continues to do while our political leaders try to one-up one another at chest pounding. They fear the perception of weakness while America is literally being destroyed around them. They fear sound bites.

I say screw that. America needs to cut and run. Now, not later.
