When bush says 'Iraq has to be able to sustain itself before we can leave', what exactly does that mean? Does it mean when there are no more suicide bombers? Does that mean when people can walk the streets without getting shot, kidnapped, beheaded or tortured? Does that mean when Iraq tells us to leave?
What I'm looking for is specifics from those who proclaim we must 'stay the course'. They never say exactly what the specific criteria is for our leaving. I don't believe they have any criteria or guidelines.
If there is any kind of troop withdrawal, it'll be small and only enough to put on a show for potential voters to show the repubs know how to invade, take down a government, put another in its place and proclaim they built a democracy.
They pretend offense at corporate media for not reporting the 'good' news in order to pander to their base. In fact, I'd bet they're secretly happy at every suicide bomb, beheading, kidnapping and so on. The puppet government the US has put into place assures the insurgency will continue without end. All of this means they can continue the charade.
The motive: To pillage the land of it's resources for as long as possible.
