Today on his radio program, in a discussion about "moral clarity" of all things, a caller brought up the U.S. support of Iraq's agressive war against Iran.
Prager responded with enthusiastic support of this war, on the grounds that both Iran and Iraq were bad regimes, and if they destroy each other that's dandy with his moralist self. In passing, he mentioned that the loss of life was a tragedy, but that overall the war was a VERY good thing. He was very enthusiastic in his approval of this war. Very enthusiastic.
The theme of his program was his own puzzlement about the lack of "moral clarity" in this country, and "the Left's" refusal to admit that our enemies are evil.
With "moralists" like Prager, is it any wonder?
"An amazingly gifted man and moralist whose mission in life has been crystallized - 'to get people obsessed with what is right and wrong.'"
"One of America's five best speakers." Radio/TV Personality Tom Snyder" To my mind, Dennis Prager is the best radio talk show host in America."
"One of the ten most powerful people in Los Angeles. . . a moral compass."
