Rove, unleashed again

Political guru Karl Rove has escaped indictment, and the hallelujah choir at the White House is singing his praises and rejoicing over the decision of the special prosecutor.

For what? It demonstrates only that he won't face a criminal trial or potential jail time or fine. Perhaps that is good news compared with the alternative.

Of course, the drumbeat by Republican cheerleaders is that Democrats should apologize for calling for the investigation into Rove's activities in this smarmy episode of revealing the name of a CIA operative.

No Democrat needs to apologize. Rove testified five times before the grand jury with a resourceful lawyer in frequent touch with the prosecutor. Lesser mortals would not have had five opportunities to explain their conduct.

They're all traitors, H.W. Bush described the outing of a CIA agent as an act of treason. Which is apparently just fine in the land of Bush.

When someone asks them if they feel they owe Rove an apology, they can say no, Rove lied from the beginning when he said he was never involved..

for outing a covert CIA agent for the sheer purpose of political payback. Just because Fitzgerald declined to indict him for perjury doesn't mean he didn't out the agent. In fact, that has been clearly established in the court records. And Dems need to start hammering it hard.

Busholini said that anyone involved in that leak would be dealt with, meaning fired. It is obvious that Rove was one of the leakers but now he will not be fired. The Bush Regime are criminal Cabal yet they rule America.
