Millions of Americans Actually believe that we'll be leaving Iraq someday.
Edited on Tue Jun-20-06 03:48 PM by Philosoraptor
Democrats are putting forward house bills to call for a time table for a pullout of troops, but I don't think they really believe it, they know about the monstrous embassy in Baghdad.

Why are the republicans lying to us, just because they can?

Tell anyone who has their hopes up for us soon bringing home the troops to give up that sad dream, it's the fifty first state.

1. well, sure, "some day". After the oil can no longer be extracted
cost effectively, or after the utter and total collapse of the U.S. as a nation-state.

The Romans abandoned most of Europe eventually, didn't they?

2. We WILL Be Leaving...
Everytime we come to the end of one of our all expense paid IRAQ vacations--once they're a U.S. territory and vacation destination.

3. I believe we will be out - or so much out that we can declare victory and
SAY that we are out before the 06 elections. One of the talking heads said that some time ago. Can't remember who it was, but he said Bush would continue to TALK big but we would pull out. He then went on to say a civil war would probably start for them - but out we will be before the election.

4. I hope you're right.
I hear that their entire strategy this fall is to take the unpleasent Iraq war and use it as their strength, all the while calling us cowards for wanting to end the madness.

5. We will leave Iraq only after all of the oil has been pumped out.
