dumb newbie question here... help me out someone (re: Fitz)

What is the current status of Fitzgerald's probe? I just got back from two weeks of backpacking, and I know Rove skated, but is the probe completed? Are they still looking at anyone? Thanks!

1. Nobody knows for sure. All the statements about Robe being

cleared came from his own lawyer, and Fitz hasn't said anything at all!

Obviously, the case isn't closed because Libby only goest totrial in Dec or Jan. We have to just wait and see.

I'm steeling myself for a repeat of the anthrax investigation, one that got as far as a specific CIA containment lab and stopped cold. Wagons were circled, a stone wall was erected, and the men at the top were protected.

We may be seeing that happening again. I sincerely hope we aren't. I hope Rove gets squeezed until he erupts like the pustule he is, taking Cheney with him.

I'm just not betting on it.

says it is. so far all we have is what rove's lawyer says with the fact that Fitz runs a tight ship and there is no leaks coming from his office. I say let the singing begin then and only then will it be over.
