We need Steven Colbert to be our official spokesman.
I saw the way he took on Georgia Republican Lynn Westmoreland pinning him down so effortlessly to name the ten commandments.

First he deftly set him up, then he swiftly asked, "What are the ten commandments"? The idiot could only choke up three, yet he wants them forced on all of us by law.

The Steven Colbert model should be copied by our liberal leaning journalists. Set them up, and lop their heads off and reduce them to a ridiculous caricature in real time.

WHERE ARE ALL THE STEVEN COLBERT'S?

Sad that a Comedy Central program is the only place where interviewers have guts.

1. Know what's even better?
RWers think he's being serious with that character he plays.

2. Only it's no joke
Steven Colbert is a brilliant satirist.
You want interviewers with guts? Try Amy Goodman and Democracy Now

both he and steve carrel were regulars on dana carvey's short-lived summer series in 1996.

behind the anchor desk- from 1996:

and taking a funny turn as george harrison(about a minute in):

okay- so it's off topic...but if you're a fan of colbert, they're worth checking out.
